Scheduled to begin operations by the end of 2025, the Dosso refinery is set to revolutionize Niger’s economic landscape with a minimum production capacity of 100,000 barrels per day.

Designed for rapid deployment through modular construction, the project is backed by a completed pre-feasibility study conducted by the country’s relevant authorities.

The increased oil production facilitated by the Dosso refinery will provide substantial economic benefits for Niger.

By reducing its reliance on imported petroleum products, the country will enhance its energy security.

This greater independence is essential for sustainable economic development and national stability.

Exporting refined petroleum products will create new revenue streams for Niger. The income generated from these exports is expected to boost economic growth and diversify the nation’s revenue sources.

This diversification is particularly critical as Niger aims to lessen its dependency on traditional extractive industries.

The construction and operation of the Dosso refinery, along with the associated petrochemical complex, are anticipated to generate numerous jobs.

These employment opportunities will not be confined to the construction phase but will extend to the ongoing operation of the refinery.

The jobs created will benefit both the local labor market and the regional economy, bringing tangible improvements to the lives of the residents.
