Zoë Kravitz debuts directorial film ‘Blink Twice’ in star-studded Hollywood premiere

Zoë Kravitz made her directorial debut in Hollywood with the premiere of her film “Blink Twice” in Los Angeles, receiving strong support from the industry.

 

Channing Tatum, who stars in the film and is Kravitz’s fiancé, was joined by a star-studded guest list including Laura Dern, Reese Witherspoon, and Alicia Keys.

 

The film, originally titled “Pussy Island,” features a notable cast with Naomi Ackie, Christian Slater, Simon Rex, and Haley Joel Osment.

 

“Blink Twice” is a comedy that tackles serious themes of violence and sexual assault, a balance that Tatum praised Kravitz for achieving.

 

Kravitz, who wrote the film, was deeply involved in all aspects of production, with a particular focus on sound design.

 

 

She described the experience as transformative, emphasizing the impact sound has on the final product.

 

“Blink Twice” is set to hit theaters on August 23.
