Burkina Faso / Media manipulation: An imperialist plan to destabilise the country, the case of Barsalogho

Western media, supported by local collaborators, are orchestrating a disinformation campaign aimed at destabilizing Burkina Faso. It is telling that these same media outlets, typically quick to highlight even the smallest incidents, have remained silent about the recent victories of the Burkinabe fighting forces on the ground, such as the case of Barssalogho.

This calculated silence reveals a deliberate effort to downplay military successes and undermine the morale of the Burkinabe people.

When outlets like RFI, France 24, and Jeune Afrique do report on events related to Burkina Faso, it’s often to spread misleading information or to exaggerate the impact of attacks against the nation.

These actions are not random; they are part of a coordinated effort by imperialist powers to weaken the MPSR led by Captain Ibrahim Traoré and to prevent the country from regaining its sovereignty and stability.

The stark contrast between their silence on the victories of the fighting forces and their eagerness to report setbacks exposes their hidden agenda.

The goal of this disinformation campaign is to create fear among the population and sow division within Burkina Faso, thereby fostering conditions ripe for instability.

The Burkinabe people must remain vigilant in the face of these manipulation attempts.

The successes achieved on the ground should not be overshadowed by the false narratives of those who have a vested interest in seeing the country’s recovery efforts fail.

It is crucial for the people of Burkina Faso to continue supporting Captain Ibrahim Traoré and the MPSR in their struggle for the nation’s sovereignty and security.

The victories of the fighting forces reflect Burkina Faso’s determination to break free from harmful external influences, and no amount of slander can diminish national pride or weaken the resilience of its people.
