Gabon: Oligui Nguema invited to the Saudi Arabia-Africa Summit in Riyadh

The President of the transition, Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema, will participate in the 1st Saudi Arabia-Africa Summit scheduled to take place on November 10, 2023, in Riyadh.

His Majesty Salman Bin ABDULAZIZ AL SAOUD, the King of Saudi Arabia, extended an invitation to President Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema on October 30 through Farraj BIN NADER, the ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Gabon.

His participation in the summit was confirmed on November 8, 2023, during the Council of Ministers.

During this summit, the transitional president will join other African heads of state and government.

The summit aims to facilitate the development of political and economic cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and African countries.

The leaders will gather to discuss and organize ways to enhance collaboration.

Saudi Arabia also intends to explore solutions to the security challenges faced by both regions in collaboration with its African partners.
