Between England and Ghana, young player Kobbie Mainoo chooses England

Kobbie Mainoo seems to have made up his mind between his native Ghana and England, where he is already playing in the Premier League with Manchester United.

The 18-year-old, who has represented England at U17, U18 and U19 level, will now begin his senior international career.

The midfielder, born to Ghanaian parents, could play for the Ghanaian national team, but is expected to join Gareth Southgate’s Three Lions. The news comes from the English Football Association.
