Possible Government reshuffle in Côte d’Ivoire: More changes on the Horizon?

Are we heading towards further dismissals in the government? Concordant sources suggest an imminent reshuffle within the government. Following the removal of Patrick Achi and Abdourahmane Cissé, other individuals may face dismissal by President Alassane Ouattara.

The Ivorian president continues his significant restructuring within the state apparatus.

According to reports, two high-ranking officials are targeted. These include Ali Kader Coulibaly, who has served as the Director of the Central Treasury Accounting Agency (ACCT) for over ten years.

His departure is rumored to be scheduled before the end of December.

Another potential departure is that of Denis Charles Kouassi, the current Director of the National Social Security Fund (CNPS).

The reasons behind these possible dismissals have not been disclosed at this time, and these changes could have implications for public finances.

Within the state, these movements are sparking controversies regarding these departures and the potential successors.
