Choupo-Moting’s potential move to FC Barcelona and Gasset’s Resurgence at Marseille

As Éric Maxim Choupo-Moting nears the end of his Bayern Munich contract, FC Barcelona is reportedly eyeing the 34-year-old Cameroonian striker. Barcelona, in search of cost-effective offensive reinforcements, has shown interest in Choupo-Moting, who will be a free agent at the season’s end.

Apart from Barcelona, Premier League and Saudi Arabian clubs are also vying for the experienced forward. If the interest materializes, Choupo-Moting could join Barcelona, adding another illustrious club to his career after spells with PSG and Bayern Munich.

Meanwhile, in Ligue 1, Jean-Louis Gasset’s impact on Olympique de Marseille has been remarkable, with four consecutive wins, including a convincing 4-0 triumph over Villarreal in the Europa League.

Gasset’s influence has revitalized Marseille, delivering improved performances and solid results since taking over from Gattuso.
