France and Croatia clinch wins in March International fixtures

France secured a hard-fought 3-2 victory against Chile at the Vélodrome in Marseille, extending their winning streak to five consecutive matches at the stadium. Despite Chile’s confident start, taking the lead in the 6th minute through Marcelinho Núñez, the French team quickly bounced back.

Fofana equalized in the 19th minute after a pass from Kylian Mbappé, and Randal Kolo Muani put France ahead with a header in the 26th minute.

In the second half, France continued their momentum, with Olivier Giroud scoring their third goal.

Kolo Muani provided an excellent assist from the right wing, setting up Giroud for a close-range finish, sealing the victory at 3-1 for France.

The win came after France’s disappointing defeat against Germany three days earlier.

Meanwhile, Croatia concluded their international break with a convincing victory over Egypt.

Despite Egypt’s perfect start with Rami Rabia opening the scoring in the 7th minute, Croatia quickly equalized through Nikola Vlašić in the 21st minute.

Croatia then took the lead in the second half with goals from Bruno Petković (58th minute), Andrej Kramarić (77th minute), and Lovro Majer (86th minute).

Although Mohamed Abdelmonem scored a late consolation goal for Egypt in stoppage time (90th+4), it wasn’t enough to overturn the deficit as Croatia emerged as the winners of the Winsunited Cup international tournament.
