Mali/Diplomacy: The Presence of the Malian Ambassador in Saudi Arabia, A sign of the consolidation of bilateral relations

On March 26, 2024, Ambassador Boubacar Gouro DIALL officially commenced his duties as Mali’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This significant event followed his presentation of letters of credence to His Royal Highness Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

Ambassador Diall was part of a group of approximately thirty Ambassadors who fulfilled this diplomatic duty on the same day at the Al Salam Royal Palace in Jeddah.

Notably, the Republic of Mali and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have maintained longstanding and close relations, sharing common values according to available information.

Their relations, centered on stability and development, have deepened over time, particularly under the leadership of Colonel Assimi GOÏTA in Mali.

Presently, the two countries collaborate to foster peace, security, and prosperity.

Through the Saudi Development Fund, their partnership has expanded into various areas, including humanitarian aid and development, as reported.

Numerous projects have been successfully completed in Mali through this collaboration, with ongoing initiatives and future prospects awaiting implementation.
