Premier League 2024-2025 schedule unveiled: exciting opening fixtures set the stage

The Premier League has released its schedule for the 2024-2025 season, set to kick off in mid-August.

Manchester United will host Fulham at Old Trafford, aiming to bounce back after a disappointing season, despite winning the FA Cup against Manchester City.

Manager Erik ten Hag remains under scrutiny after narrowly keeping his position.

The highlight of the opening weekend will be the clash between reigning champions Manchester City and Chelsea.

Pep Guardiola’s side will face Chelsea’s new manager Enzo Maresca, who joins after promoting Leicester to the Premier League.

Leicester themselves will play against Tottenham, who, under Ange Postecoglou, had a promising start to the previous season but ultimately disappointed.

Arsenal, having lost the title to Manchester City once again, will host Wolverhampton at the Emirates Stadium.

Liverpool, entering a new era without Jürgen Klopp, will visit Ipswich Town, marking Arne Slot’s debut as the Reds’ manager.

Aston Villa, having secured a historic Champions League qualification, will face West Ham United away.

Here is the schedule for the first round of Premier League matches:

  • Manchester United vs. Fulham

Saturday, August 17
