9th Pan-African Congress: East Africa meets In Tanzania this Saturday 06 July

The preparatory phase for the upcoming Pan-African Congress continues with regional conferences.

 

Following events in South Africa, Mali, Congo, and Morocco, Tanzania is now hosting the regional meeting for East Africa.

 

Scheduled for Saturday, July 6, 2024, this event will be held via videoconference under the theme “Africanophonie, Cultures, Education, and Pan-African Identity.” Each conference addresses a specific theme to identify effective solutions to the challenges facing Africa’s development and emergence.

 

The goal of this conference is to establish a dialogue framework between East African countries and their diasporas in anticipation of the 9th Pan-African Congress.

 

Participants will discuss concrete proposals to be presented at the main event in Lomé, Togo, from October 29 to November 2.

 

The 9th Pan-African Congress, themed “Renewal of Pan-Africanism and the Continent’s Role in Global Governance,” aims to bring together Africans from the continent, the diaspora, and Afro-descendants.
