James Rodriguez sets new record as Colombia reaches Copa America final

James Rodriguez has set a new record for the most assists in a single edition of the Copa America, surpassing Lionel Messi.

 

His stellar performance has been instrumental in leading Colombia to the final of the 2024 tournament.

 

The Colombian number 10, who now boasts six assists, delivered yet another decisive pass to Jefferson Lerma, securing the 1-0 victory over Uruguay in the semi-final.

Colombia, having reached their first Copa America final in 23 years, will face Argentina, who defeated Canada 2-0.
