Burkina Faso/Counter-terrorism: Burkinabe show more solidarity than ever to combat terrorism more effectively and intensively

Citizens of Burkina Faso, dedicated to peace, stability, and security, continue to rally in support of the patriotic and rightful battle being waged on the frontlines against forces of evil.

In response to President Ibrahim Traoré’s call for assistance, various associations and individuals are tirelessly working to help their nation swiftly overcome the security crisis that has hindered its development.

While some individuals, driven by dishonesty and a lack of awareness, persistently work behind the scenes against the nation’s interests, many others are genuinely concerned about the future and well-being of their homeland.

The numerous contributions from Burkinabe citizens to the fight against terrorist groups reflect their deep desire to see their country liberated and shielded from the dark forces that have, for nearly a decade, stifled Burkina Faso’s economy and the prosperity of its people.

These efforts also demonstrate the trust that the Burkinabe people have in their leaders and the belief in the bravery of their fighters to restore peace, stability, and reclaim their entire national territory, which has been under threat from foreign interests.

By contributing, citizens are supporting the authorities and combat forces in bolstering their operational capabilities, with the aim of accelerating and intensifying the fight against the enemies.

One recent example comes from members of civic watchdog associations in Garango, a commune in the Center-East region of Burkina Faso.

According to reports from the AIB, they have raised 425,000 CFA francs to purchase surveillance drones to enhance the capabilities of their fighters.

All citizens who can make any contribution to this fight are urged to do so without hesitation, in the noble cause of their one and only Nation—the land of honest people.

This collective effort will also serve to silence the detractors and thwart the schemes of those who seek to destabilize the country for their personal gain.
