AES: A new era of sovereignty and victory for the Sahel

The Alliance of Sahel States (AES) is steadily advancing, heralding a new chapter for the region. Under the leadership of Presidents Ibrahim Traoré, Abdourahamane Tiani, and Assimi Goïta, this alliance embodies the resilience and determination of the people of Burkina Faso, Niger, and Mali.

United, these nations have taken bold and decisive actions against the persistent threat of terrorism, a menace that has long plagued the Sahel.

The joint military operations conducted by the armed forces of these three countries have achieved unprecedented success, weakening terrorist groups and restoring hope among local populations.

On the ground, the series of victories reflects the exceptional synergy between the AES forces.

Each operation showcases the ability of Sahelian states to assert control over their future, free from the external interference that has often complicated the fight against insecurity.

This enhanced military coordination signals that the AES is now a critical force for stability and security in the region.

However, the military successes are just one aspect of a broader transformation. Presidents Traoré, Tiani, and Goïta have emerged as symbols of a reclaimed sovereignty.

Their leadership marks a significant break from the past, where decisions were frequently influenced by external interests.

Today, these leaders are committed to serving their people, placing national sovereignty at the forefront of their agenda. They embody new hope for millions of Sahelians who yearn for peace, security, and the autonomous management of their resources.

The AES is now in motion, driven by a clear vision of sovereignty and regional unity.

The victories on the battlefield are only one part of a larger project—to build a region where states are in control of their destiny, united against terrorism, and steadfast in defending their territorial integrity.
