PSG reportedly eyeing Rashford amid uncertainty at Manchester United

Marcus Rashford’s future at Manchester United has become a hot topic, with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) emerging as a potential destination for the England international. Reports suggest the French giants are monitoring the situation closely, as the striker’s tenure at Old Trafford appears increasingly unstable.

Currently under contract until 2028, Rashford has faced criticism for his off-field lifestyle and perceived distractions that have reportedly impacted his performance.

While new manager Ruben Amorim is making efforts to rejuvenate the 27-year-old’s form, scoring three goals in five matches under his guidance, club executives are reportedly weighing their options.

Financial considerations also play a key role. Rashford’s annual salary of €18.25 million is seen as a significant burden for Manchester United, especially under the cost-cutting vision of new stakeholders Ineos and Sir Jim Ratcliffe.

Selling the player could free up funds for reinforcements during a tight transfer window.

The Telegraph suggests PSG, frequently linked with Rashford in the past, could be his next stop. The French club’s interest in Premier League stars, coupled with their long-standing admiration for Rashford’s skill set, positions them as frontrunners.

Although Rashford’s market value is estimated at €60 million by Transfermarkt, Manchester United may settle for a lower fee to facilitate a deal.

With interest also coming from Saudi Arabia, Rashford faces a pivotal decision in the coming months.

Whether PSG can secure his signature remains to be seen, but their pursuit underscores their ambition to bolster their attacking lineup.
