NBA/ Antetokounmpo’s triple-double sparks bucks’ revival; NBA highlights roundup

Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Milwaukee Bucks to a resounding 128-104 victory over the Toronto Raptors, delivering an impressive triple-double with 11 points, 12 rebounds, and a season-high 13 assists.

Despite suffering a finger injury requiring stitches in the first half, Antetokounmpo set the tone for the Bucks before resting in the fourth quarter. “When your best player moves the ball like that, it becomes contagious,” said Bucks coach Doc Rivers.

Damian Lillard chipped in with 25 points, helping Milwaukee bounce back after losing four of their last five games.

In Chicago, Zach LaVine’s stellar 35 points, 10 rebounds, and eight assists fueled a thrilling 114-110 comeback victory over the San Antonio Spurs, overcoming a 19-point deficit in the third quarter.

Despite the loss, Spurs rookie Victor Wembanyama shone with 23 points, 14 rebounds, and eight blocks.

Elsewhere, the Phoenix Suns ended their losing streak with a 109-99 win over the Philadelphia 76ers, thanks to Bradley Beal’s 25 points off the bench.

The Sacramento Kings edged the Miami Heat 123-118 in double overtime, and the Detroit Pistons narrowly beat the Portland Trail Blazers 118-115.

Meanwhile, the New York Knicks dropped their third consecutive game, falling 103-94 to the Orlando Magic, as the Dallas Mavericks suffered their fifth straight defeat against the Memphis Grizzlies.
