Burkina-Faso/Contributions to the Patriotic Support Fund: The reflection of a united Faso in the face of security challenges

Under the leadership of the Head of State, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, Burkina Faso does not bow to adversity or to the schemes of imperialists and their local agents residing in Côte d’Ivoire, who are working against the nation. The patriotic people remain fully committed to President Traoré’s call for general mobilization in the fight against terrorism and in support of the country’s development. Contributions to the Patriotic Support Fund (FSP)—a mechanism established to support the nation’s peace effort—are ongoing.

In a spirit of solidarity, the Burkinabe Shippers’ Council (CBC) has once again demonstrated its civic commitment to the well-being of the population by contributing 50,000,000 CFA francs to the FSP. In addition to this effort by the CBC, the Burkinabe people in all their diversity continue to make various forms of contributions to support the government’s efforts for peace, security, and development. These acts by brave citizens reflect the nation’s unity in the face of security challenges.

In 2023 and 2024, the CBC had already contributed 100,000,000 CFA francs, food supplies for internally displaced persons, and transportation equipment to the National Police as part of its support for the peace effort. These contributions reinforce the fight against the war imposed on Burkina Faso by imperialist forces.

These various contributions are a reflection of a united country, committed to standing against the forces of evil. They embody the people’s determination to fight for the building of a sovereign Burkina Faso.
