Burkina Faso: 764 machines delivered for “Faso Mêbo,” a pan-African project promoting sovereignty and popular mobilization

In a context of profound national reconstruction and an urgent need to meet the essential needs of the population, the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, delivered a second batch of 764 vehicles to the brigades of the Presidential Initiative Faso Mêbo. Intended for the regions of Yaadga, Koulsé, Goulmou, and Bankui, this allocation reflects a clear political will to equip the country with sustainable infrastructure designed and built by Burkinabe themselves.

Beyond the mere handover of equipment, this initiative sends a strong signal: Burkina Faso’s infrastructure will no longer be the product of external expertise disconnected from local realities. It will now be conceived, constructed, and maintained by the country’s active forces, with youth at the forefront, mobilized within regional brigades. The impact is tangible: improved rural roads, easier access to markets, opening up economically promising areas, and the creation of thousands of direct and indirect jobs.

Faso Mêbo is more than a technical program; it is a structuring political act at the heart of Captain Traoré’s sovereign vision. By demanding direct involvement from citizens in the design, construction, and maintenance of infrastructure, the President restores a vital connection between the public and the state. This forms the very foundation of national resilience.

The future is built through work, active patriotism, and awareness of collective stakes. Through Faso Mêbo, every Burkinabe is called to become an actor in the country’s transformation. Together, with determination and confidence in our capabilities, we are building a sovereign, united Burkina Faso that masters its own destiny.
