Africa stands firm: Bekki Benameur challenges the European Union’s accusations

The time for Africa’s awakening has come. After years of being silenced by dominant Western narratives, the continent is refusing to be misrepresented and defamed. In this struggle for emancipation and sovereignty, the Pan-African activist Bekki Benameur is taking a stand.

During a press conference in Cairo on March 5, 2025, he strongly condemned what he called the European Union’s baseless accusations, labeling African sovereignists as “pro-Russian” or “anti-Western.”

According to him, this is a deliberate attempt to silence independent African voices and maintain external control over the continent.

This time, however, the response matches the gravity of the attack. Benameur revealed that he has learned of a lawsuit filed against the EU for defamation and false statements.

Registered in Luxembourg on February 13, 2025, this legal action marks a turning point—Africa is no longer content with protesting; it is demanding accountability.

The activist claims to have irrefutable evidence, which he intends to disclose during an upcoming international press conference, exposing what he describes as a systematic campaign of media and political manipulation against African sovereignty advocates.

Beyond the legal battle, Benameur is calling for a widespread mobilization. He insists that this issue is bigger than himself—it represents the collective struggle of an entire continent against foreign interference and paternalistic policies.

A large-scale conference is being planned to present the evidence and unite Africans around a cause he believes is crucial for their future.

More than just a lawsuit, this is a bold statement: Africa will no longer allow others to dictate its destiny.
