DRC: President Félix Tshisekedi listens to his people, supports disaster victims in Kinshasa

In a show of solidarity and closeness to his people, President Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo has once again demonstrated his deep concern for the living conditions of his fellow citizens. In the wake of the severe damage caused by recent torrential rains that struck the city of Kinshasa, the Head of State did not hesitate to visit the affected areas personally to witness the dramatic situation faced by the victims.

President Tshisekedi visited the Tata Raphaël Stadium, which has been converted into a temporary shelter, to assess the extent of the damage and inquire about the care being provided to those affected by this natural disaster. His visit reflects not only compassion and attentiveness but also a commitment to ensuring an effective governmental response. The President engaged directly with the victims, rescue teams, and local authorities to ensure that immediate and appropriate actions are being taken.

This proactive approach by President Tshisekedi highlights his ongoing commitment to staying close to the people, especially during the most critical times. His physical presence at the disaster sites sends a powerful message: that of a compassionate and determined leadership, focused on delivering swift and concrete solutions. By reaffirming his support for the victims, the Head of State aims to fast-track humanitarian responses and implement structural measures to prevent such tragedies in the future.
