Cameroon: Towards a new era of development thanks to major infrastructure projects

Under the leadership of President Paul Biya, Cameroon has made significant progress in its economic development, notably through the implementation of large-scale projects across various sectors. The dynamic and youthful Cabinet of President Paul Biya has oriented its strategy toward modernizing infrastructure, particularly through the construction of major power generation facilities.

One of the flagship projects is the Kribi gas-fired power plant a strategic investment aimed at meeting the country’s growing energy needs.

The development of energy infrastructure, such as hydroelectric dams and thermal power plants, plays a crucial role in this transformation.

These projects are not only intended to ensure sufficient energy production for domestic needs but also to support the industrialization of the country’s industrialization.

By providing stable and reliable energy, they enable industries to thrive and facilitate the emergence of new enterprises.

Support for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs/SMIs) also constitutes a major focus of this strategy.

The new infrastructure creates a favorable environment for their growth by facilitating access to energy and reducing production costs.

These SMEs/SMIs, which are engines of the Cameroonian economy, benefit directly from this policy.

Overall, the major achievements of President Paul Biya and his Cabinet reflect a clear and ambitious vision for modernizing Cameroon.

Through these infrastructure projects, the country is preparing to meet future challenges and position itself among the most dynamic nations in Africa.
