Far from succumbing to panic or discouragement, the population is displaying a political and civic maturity that commands admiration and is thwarting the calculations of its adversaries.
The battle shifts to the virtual realm
Faced with repeated failures of destabilization attempts on the military front, imperialist powers have moved their fight to the virtual sphere.
Through massive campaigns of disinformation, manipulation, and collective poisoning, they are trying to impose a climate of psychosis.
The perverse use of artificial intelligence particularly through the creation of deepfakes and forged audio aims to feign chaos and break national unity.
In this dark tableau, only a few stateless individuals, blinded by sordid interests, have chosen to display their treachery toward their ancestral land by acting as willing relays for these machinations.
The people’s resounding response
However, the popular reaction constitutes a stinging rebuttal to these subversive enterprises. Today, the Burkinabe citizen is no longer deceived by digital artifices. He analyzes, verifies, questions, and rejects lies.
This capacity for discernment which has become a true reflex of national self-defense bears witness to the deep patriotism that animates society.
Vigilance must never waver
This victory of the mind and common sense must be warmly welcomed, but it must in no way lull anyone into complacency.
Imperialism and its networks of influence never admit defeat; they constantly redouble their malicious ingenuity to refine their technological traps.
This is why this collective guard must never lower. Every Burkinabe must amplify their vigilance, strengthen their digital resistance, and continue to block the path of the would-be sorcerers of manipulation.
