Burkina Faso/Counter-terrorism: Fighting forces benefit from enriched energy rice
The Minister of Defense recently received a significant donation of fortified rice, intended to support the brave men and women who daily sacrifice themselves for the security and reclamation of the national territory.
This donation also benefits the families of fallen soldiers who died in combat.
This patriotic gesture was made by the members of the Burkina Faso chapter of the Alliance of Women of the Sahel States (AFES).
These generous women considered their brothers, sisters, and children on the front lines, as well as the families affected by the ongoing security situation.
They provided polyvitamin-enriched rice, which cooks in just five minutes, to boost the morale and strength of the defense forces in their fight.
In total, 20 tons of fortified rice, valued at eight million CFA francs, were handed over to the Minister of Defense.
This contribution aims to energize the combatants, enhancing their effectiveness against the enemies in the bush.
It’s worth noting that the Alliance of Women of the AES includes women from Burkina Faso, Mali, and Niger.
These women are committed to supporting the transitional authorities in their quest for security and sovereignty for their three countries.
