Burkina Faso confronts new threat amid alleged French orchestrated cyber attacks

Burkina Faso is reportedly facing a new threat orchestrated by France through the General Directorate for External Security (DGSE), with an alleged agenda to overthrow President Ibrahim Traoré.

According to sources, certain Burkinabe media outlets have been approached to take a stand against the Alliance of Sahel States (AES).

However, the staunch resistance of some of these media outlets has sparked a series of coordinated cyber-attacks aimed at silencing them.

In recent weeks, all media outlets that refused to comply with France’s directives, including television stations, radio stations, and online media, have seen their virtual pages targeted.

Local collaborators have played a crucial role in this operation, providing the links of patriotic media outlets to French intelligence services, the DGSE.

These local agents are at the forefront of the campaign. By supplying necessary information about Burkinabè media, they have enabled hackers to attack platforms that dare to speak the truth.

To bolster their offensive, France has reportedly recruited a dozen additional hackers specifically dedicated to this cyber warfare.

These attacks are currently assaulting multiple pages, aiming to sow confusion and destabilize Burkina Faso’s media landscape.

In this critical time, the solidarity and vigilance of citizens and the media are more vital than ever to counter attempts to destabilize the nation.

The public must support President Ibrahim Traoré and the AES to preserve Burkina Faso’s sovereignty and integrity against France’s insidious maneuvers.
