Spain defeats France 2-1 in epic Euro 2024 Semi-Final clash

In a thrilling clash at Munich’s Allianz Arena, Spain triumphed over France with a 2-1 victory to secure a spot in the Euro 2024 final.

The Spaniards, who had eliminated Germany in the previous round, entered the match as slight favorites.

Despite their initial struggles, the French, led by captain Kylian Mbappé, struck first. Mbappé’s setup allowed Randal Kolo Muani to head in the opening goal at the 9th minute.

Spain’s teenage sensation, Lamine Yamal, equalized with a stunning left-footed shot in the 21st minute, becoming the youngest scorer in Euro history.

Just four minutes later, Dani Olmo capitalized on a defensive error, putting Spain ahead with a powerful strike that defied French efforts to clear it.

In the second half, France pushed hard for an equalizer but failed to break down Spain’s resilient defense.

Spain’s composed play saw them through to the final whistle, marking a memorable 2-1 win and their advancement to the Euro 2024 final.
