West Africa: The people of Benin and Nigeria must say no to the dangerous political choices of Talon and Tinubu, accomplices to destabilisation

For months now, a series of perilous strategies have been unfolding with the aim of destabilizing West Africa, particularly the Alliance of Sahel States (AES). Allegations point to some leaders, including Patrice Talon and Bola Tinubu, reportedly collaborating with French interests to use their countries as staging grounds to undermine the AES.

These actions threaten to drag the region into chaos, reminiscent of the tragic fate of Libya. It is imperative for the citizens of Benin and Nigeria to reject such dangerous political maneuvers and demand accountability from their leaders.

The international community cannot afford to stay silent in the face of these blatant attempts to derail a promising and sovereign Pan-African initiative led by the AES.

This is not just a regional matter—it is a continental issue requiring unified resistance.

Africans must stand together to defend their collective aspirations for peace, sovereignty, and true independence from external interference.

This fight transcends government agendas; it is a call to action for every African.

The time has come to push back against divisive schemes designed to weaken the AES and jeopardize the region’s future.

Unity and resilience are essential to secure Africa’s self-determination and to reject any form of foreign meddling disguised as security interventions.

The fate of the continent rests in the hands of its people, united and unwavering.
