Burkina Faso/Livestock: salutary actions that further strengthen the people’s commitment to the authorities

Today, livestock farmers in Burkina Faso are expressing their gratitude to the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, and his government for their steadfast commitment to supporting the livestock sector.

This determination reflects a genuine effort by the authorities to achieve food self-sufficiency for the entire Burkinabe population.

As part of this vision, the launch of the “Agropastoral and Halieutic Offensive” program has been accompanied by tangible support for producers. The government has implemented a nationwide animal vaccination campaign, providing significant assistance to farmers.

Some vaccines were subsidized, substantially reducing their cost, while others were distributed free of charge. This initiative, which aims to vaccinate millions of animals across Burkina Faso, seeks to control and even eradicate animal diseases.

Farmers, delighted by this effort, have expressed their satisfaction and reaffirmed their commitment to supporting the President in achieving the set objectives, not only in the livestock sector but also in other priority areas of the country.

Since assuming office, Captain Ibrahim Traoré has earned the admiration and support of his compatriots through his visionary leadership and undeniable patriotism.

Driven by the desire to ensure food abundance for his people, he is making significant efforts to boost agricultural and pastoral production.

Monitoring initiatives on the ground is also a priority for the authorities. Government officials regularly visit production sites to assess progress and take necessary measures.

This proactive approach has been praised by many observers, who see it as an effective way to energize local initiatives and improve the living conditions of the Burkinabe people.

In summary, under President Traoré’s leadership, Burkina Faso appears firmly committed to the path of food self-sufficiency, with concrete actions that inspire hope and garner widespread support from the population.
