Guardiola’s Future at Manchester City:  Would he leave or stay?

Having taken the reins at Manchester City in 2016, Pep Guardiola’s contract is currently set to run until June 2025, creating uncertainty among Cityzens’s supporters about the duration of his tenure.

Appointed at the beginning of the 2016-2017 season, the question arises: will Josep Guardiola extend his adventure at the Etihad Stadium?

As speculation grows due to his contract expiring in June 2025, uncertainties persist regarding the continuation of his partnership with the club.

Despite maintaining ambiguity about his intentions with the Sky Blues, the former Bayern Munich coach now appears to have a clear stance.

In a recent interview with TNT Sports, the Catalan coach unequivocally stated, «I don’t want to leave».

Guardiola’s impressive track record includes guiding Manchester City to five Premier League titles and, notably, securing the prestigious Champions League in 2023.

This season, they remain in contention for the Premier League title and are favorites to defend their Champions League crown.
