Burkina Faso/Territorial reconquest: Fighting Forces galvanised in their mission by the hierarchy and the Government

Government officials conducted visits over the weekend to the frontline forces, especially those stationed in high-security challenge areas.

This initiative is designed to uplift and inspire the courageous and dedicated individuals from Burkina Faso who tirelessly sacrifice for the nation’s security and the safety of their fellow citizens.

According to reports from AIB, Brigadier General Célestin Simporé, the Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, accompanied by the Minister Delegate for Security and other military leaders, made an operational visit on Saturday, March 30, to the forces in the East region, known for its significant security challenges.

During the visit, General Simporé commended the troops for their recent successes in reclaiming national territory.

Additionally, on Sunday, three (03) ministers visited forces deployed in the Central-West region, including the Airborne Intervention Battalion (BIA) in Koudougou and the mixed detachment in Tenado.

The government delegation’s purpose was to offer encouragement and support to the dedicated combatants working tirelessly to restore peace, security, and regain full control of the nation’s territory.

This initiative aims to provide further motivation as they continue their crucial and intensive efforts to liberate Burkina Faso from criminal elements.
