Lameck Banda ruled out for the rest of the season due to knee injury

Us Lecce’s left winger, Lameck Banda, will play no further part in this season’s campaign following a knee injury sustained during the clash against AC Milan, which ended in a 3-0 defeat for his team on matchday 31.

The Zambian talent, who has made 21 appearances, contributed with 2 goals and 4 assists so far this season, faces a spell on the sidelines after the club confirmed he will undergo surgery.

The setback occurred during a fiercely contested match against Milan, where Banda showcased his dynamic playing style before being forced off the field due to the injury.

With only 6 matches remaining in the season, Lecce expressed concerns over Banda’s ability to return to action, highlighting the significant blow his absence poses to the team’s ambitions.

Banda’s absence will undoubtedly be felt by Lecce, as he has been a key figure in their attacking lineup, providing both goals and assists throughout the season.

The club now faces the challenge of finding adequate replacements to fill the void left by the talented Zambian winger as they push towards their season objectives.
