Burkina Faso/Destabilization plan: President Ibrahim TRAORE’s pledge against any threat

Some elements are keen on destabilizing the transition led by Captain Ibrahim Traoré in Burkina Faso. Alongside the looming terrorist threat, the nation, known as the Land of the honest peoples, faces a potential upheaval, especially from factions within the military regime.

Thankfully, the Burkinabe populace, under their resolute leadership, stands ready to defend the ongoing revolutionary fervor within the country.

Captain Ibrahim Traoré, reaffirming this stance on Tuesday, April 23, addressed the defense and security forces in the Cascades region, situated in the far southwest of Burkina Faso.

He emphasized that Burkina Faso’s battle extends beyond combating terrorism alone.

He urged the combat-ready forces to brace themselves for any looming threat and prepare for high-intensity conflict scenarios.

Regarding criminal elements within urban centers and their external collaborators, the Head of State issued a stern caution.

«Anyone, whether terrorists or any hostile forces aiming to disrupt our peace, we must gear up to confront them decisively and sustainably», Captain Ibrahim Traoré warned during his meeting with the resilient fighters from the Cascades region, who tirelessly safeguard the population’s security.

To ensure preparedness, comprehensive measures are underway, encompassing logistical enhancements, bolstered manpower, and advanced technical capabilities.

A unified front forged between the fighting forces, civilian populace, and national authorities stands as the bulwark against any potential challenges.
