Burkina Faso: Support from the people of Burkina Faso, a strength for the transition team

Since the beginning of the transition period in Burkina Faso, led by the patriotic, visionary, and dynamic Captain Ibrahim Traoré, the Burkinabe people have demonstrated unwavering support for their leaders and the soldiers who are sacrificing themselves on the battlefield.

This support is driven by the trust they place in their authorities, a sentiment that was prominently displayed during the national conference on Saturday, May 25.

At this national conference, five additional years were granted to Captain Ibrahim Traoré, making him the official president of the land of the honest people.

This evident trust of the people in their leaders also influenced the crucial decision made during the conference, which declared the president eligible for the next presidential election after the five-year transition period.

It is within this trust and support of the people that President Ibrahim Traoré draws his strength and energy to successfully carry out his mission of restoring peace, security, stability, and socio-economic development in the country.

The extension of the transition period, desired and achieved by the people, also sends a strong message to the detractors of Faso.

Those who are desperately trying to divide the wise people of Burkina Faso should realize that the nation is more united than ever and determined to fight alongside its leaders for freedom, dignity, and complete sovereignty.

The people’s support and commitment are significant obstacles to those selfish individuals, power-hungry and their accomplices, who seek to destabilize the transition for their personal gain.

For this reason, it is crucial for the people, who cherish sovereignty, stability, and prosperity, to continue and even strengthen this momentum of solidarity, unity, and patriotism. It is essential for the freedom and the flourishing of Burkina Faso.
