Burkina Faso: Is France destabilising the Land of the honest People through terrorism?

The terrorism crisis in the Sahel has led to the tragic loss of over 13,000 lives in Burkina Faso between 2017 and 2022.

As the search for the root causes of this violence continues, alarming information has surfaced, suggesting that France may be clandestinely contributing to the region’s destabilization by indirectly supporting terrorist groups.

According to statements from Burkinabe Prime Minister Me Apollinaire Joachimson Kyelem de Tambela, France is allegedly employing a covert strategy to fuel terrorism in Burkina Faso.

Instead of supplying its own weapons, France reportedly purchases Russian arms and then channels them to the terrorist factions operating in the region.

This tactic cleverly obscures the true source of the weaponry, making it appear as though France is uninvolved in the conflict.

This deceptive maneuver aims to deflect attention and avoid direct accusations. By using weapons, it does not produce, France can plausibly deny any involvement and escape suspicion.

However, recent disclosures have exposed this intricate strategy, suggesting that France is playing a direct and insidious role in destabilizing Burkina Faso.

The Burkinabe people have only recently begun to grasp the extent of this alleged involvement.

Now that this information is coming to light, it is crucial to take action.

Burkina Faso cannot tolerate foreign interference that exacerbates violence and endangers its citizens’ safety.

The international community must acknowledge these manipulations and support Burkina Faso in its fight against terrorism.
