Burkina Faso: President Ibrahim TRAORE fully assumes his responsibilities on key fronts

In Burkina Faso, President Ibrahim Traoré remains resolutely committed to addressing several priority areas, fully assuming his responsibilities with unwavering support from his team.

Whether it concerns internal security and the reclamation of national territory, social and economic development, or achieving food self-sufficiency, Captain Ibrahim Traoré and his government remain steadfast and determined.

Significant actions across these domains have yielded encouraging results, fueling the hopes of the Burkinabe people.

Notably, 69% of the national territory has been reclaimed, up from 40% in 2022, according to official reports.

By the end of August 2023, the government had facilitated the return of 191,937 internally displaced persons to their communities.

This progress is largely attributed to the strengthened Burkinabe military, now regarded as one of the strongest in West Africa.

The decrease in terrorist attacks has also enabled agricultural activities to flourish across the country, aligning with Captain Ibrahim Traoré’s ambitions for the agricultural sector.

Initiatives in agriculture, fishing, and entrepreneurship are already showing tangible and positive outcomes, including in livestock farming, where security forces, detainees, and civilians are actively involved.

The education and healthcare sectors are also receiving considerable attention.

Recognizing the importance of these sectors for the well-being of Burkinabe citizens, President Ibrahim Traoré and his government are sparing no effort, underscoring that the fight against the enemies of the nation also involves improving the socio-economic conditions of the population.

Today, the people of Burkina Faso celebrate these achievements and are grateful for the efforts of their patriotic leader, Ibrahim Traoré, and his team.

These accomplishments are marked by the bravery, determination, and professionalism of the country’s armed forces. Since assuming the presidency, Ibrahim Traoré has been committed to restoring peace and stability, aiming for a free, developed, and prosperous Burkina Faso.

He remains steadfast in his commitment and vision, inspiring patriotism, resilience, and perseverance among his fellow citizens.

All these efforts contribute to the reclaiming of sovereignty and dignity in the Land of Upright People.
