Memphis Depay joins Corinthians after leaving Atletico Madrid

Memphis Depay has officially found a new club following his departure from Atletico Madrid, as the Dutch forward opts for a surprising move to Brazil. The 30-year-old playmaker has signed a two-year contract with Corinthians, marking the next chapter of his career away from European football.

Depay, who has previously played for prominent European clubs including Olympique Lyonnais, Barcelona, and Atletico Madrid, made the decision to leave Europe this season in favor of the Brazilian side.

Known for his creativity and attacking prowess, Depay will now don the Corinthians jersey starting next season, bringing his wealth of experience to one of Brazil’s most storied clubs.

The move has raised eyebrows among fans and pundits alike, as the Netherlands international takes on a new challenge in South America after years at the highest levels of European football.
