Marking the 64th anniversary of Burkina Faso’s independence, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, Supreme Commander of the National Armed Forces, reaffirmed the nation’s unyielding resolve to reclaim every inch of its territory without compromise.

 

Captain Traoré emphasized that the struggle for national sovereignty is non-negotiable and relentless.

 

True to its heritage and principles, Burkina Faso refuses any dialogue with forces seeking to destabilize the nation.

 

In his address, he reassured the nation that the armed forces would continue their relentless fight against terrorist groups, committed to restoring peace across the country.

 

This battle, he underscored, goes beyond military operations—it is a patriotic duty embraced by every Burkinabe determined to safeguard the future of coming generations.

 

Captain Traoré also expressed profound gratitude for the unwavering support of the Burkinabe people, whose solidarity remains the cornerstone of the country’s resilience.
