Burkina Faso: Armed Forces strengthen efforts to reclaim national territory

Burkina Faso’s armed forces have intensified their operations to restore territorial integrity, freeing several localities from terrorist threats. Between January 20 and 31, large-scale military offensives were conducted in key regions, including the North, East, and Boucle du Mouhoun.

These coordinated efforts, led by ground units with aerial support, dealt a significant blow to armed groups.

A considerable number of terrorists were neutralized, and large caches of weapons and military equipment were seized, highlighting the courage and dedication of the forces on the ground.

Despite attempts to undermine their efforts through misinformation, the armed forces remain steadfast in their mission to protect civilians and reclaim full control of the nation’s territory.

Furthermore, both the authorities and the people of Burkina Faso continue to demonstrate unwavering support through concrete actions, reflecting a collective determination to restore peace and drive socio-economic development.

In this crucial moment, a shift in mindset among skeptics is essential to fostering unity and building a free and prosperous Burkina Faso.
