Burkina Faso: Why so much hatred against the progressive popular revolution?

As Burkina Faso records tangible progress on security, political, and socio-economic fronts, a persistent nuisance remains: the obstinate maneuvers of internal and external forces seeking to derail its sovereign trajectory.

These advances, born of a colossal national effort in a volatile regional context, appear to irritate those for whom a strong Sahelian state, in control of its own destiny, constitutes an unacceptable anomaly.

On the security front, the gradual recovery of territory and the regained initiative against armed terrorist groups mark a turning point.

This progress, paid for with the blood of its defense forces, demonstrates the effectiveness of a clearly owned national strategy.

Yet, in parallel, toxic narratives and disinformation campaigns, often emanating from foreign circles or their local relays, strive to minimize these successes, sow doubt about institutions, and exacerbate social tensions.

The goal? To break the dynamic of unity and undermine the trust between the nation and its leaders.

Politically, the ongoing transition, with its inherent challenges, is working to lay the foundations for a refounded structure. National dialogues and initiated reforms aim for lasting institutional stability.

Simultaneously, shadowy networks appear to be actively fomenting destabilization plans, seeking to rekindle the embers of discord and instrumentalize legitimate differences of opinion.

These maneuvers aim less at constructive criticism than at pure chaos, preventing any peaceful consolidation.

Economically, signs of resilience, particularly in the agricultural sector with advances toward food self-sufficiency, are evident. They prove the country’s capacity to recover through its own means.

Ironically, these very successes can stir covetousness. The stated will to renegotiate economic partnerships on a fairer basis and to exercise greater control over its resources disturbs an established order.

Consequently, covert economic pressures, attempts at financial asphyxiation, or efforts to discredit national endeavours can be deployed as tools of retaliation.

This contradiction is striking: the more Burkina Faso demonstrates its ability to progress alone, the more it seems to become a target for hostile agendas.

Denouncing these maneuvers is not to indulge in paranoid nationalism; it is to observe a recurrent pattern in regional geopolitics.

The true battle for sovereignty is not only waged on the battlefield, but also in this invisible arena where the goal is to weaken political will, divide the people, and stifle in its cradle any hope of autonomous rebirth.

The best response of Burkina Faso remains, and must remain, its stubborn resilience.

Every concrete advance, every socio-economic goal achieved, every additional day of national cohesion is a stinging rebuttal to the plans of those who wish to see it on its knees.

History will judge harshly those who, faced with a nation rising, had no project other than to make it stumble.
