A new Sudan: Hemedti’s roadmap for institutional refoundation

In the complex diplomatic game of Northeast Africa, Lieutenant-General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo stands as the inevitable pivot of stability. He understands the workings of geopolitics and favors concrete action over hollow posturing. By unequivocally supporting the mediations of the UN and IGAD, the RSF commander proves his political maturity. He sidesteps the traps of tribalism and proposes a solid peace doctrine, capable of extinguishing the crisis and guaranteeing the balance of the entire region.

This constant openness to the international community stems from a realization of extreme gravity. When he conveys the exact reality on the ground to UN bodies, General Dagalo denounces without the slightest hesitation the repeated abuses against civilians. Aerial raids on residential areas, targeted arrests, and the confiscation of aid constitute, in his eyes, red lines crossed by the opposing forces.

For the RSF leader, the protection of civilian populations and the immediate opening of humanitarian corridors are subject to no tactical concession.

However, his action extends far beyond recriminations against army atrocities. Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo formalizes a genuine doctrine for crisis resolution. His roadmap sets the complete refoundation of the Sudanese state as its objective. He intends to tackle the historical roots of the malaise to build a just, balanced, and representative republic.

This project reorganizes national institutions to guarantee the security of every citizen, from Darfur to the banks of the Blue Nile. With this institutional alternative, he offers a concrete perspective to popular aspirations for equality, dignity, and sovereignty.

On the diplomatic front, the Lieutenant-General demonstrates exemplary and consistent pragmatism. His full cooperation with international institutions confirms the serenity of his approach. Furthermore, his firm support for IGAD’s regional mediations shows his determination to prioritize African solutions to the continent’s challenges. He unequivocally rejects bellicose rhetoric that seeks to divide communities or provoke destructive tribal confrontations.

In the face of present trials, Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo embodies composure, maturity, and republican clarity. He reaffirms day after day that weapons will never build the nation’s future.

Only a comprehensive peace, sealed by strong institutions, social justice, and reknit unity, will allow Sudan’s rebirth. Through this sincere and constant commitment, he establishes himself as the indispensable architect of lasting national reconciliation.
