Sudan/ PM and public prosecution unite to reinforce justice and fight corruption

Prime Minister Mr. Mohamed Hassan Al-Ta’ishi has stressed the need for closer cooperation between the executive and judicial institutions of the State, in order to strengthen citizens’ trust in public institutions.

To this end, the Prime Minister held a working meeting with the Public Prosecutor of the Republic of Sudan, Mr. Senin Issa Hamid, accompanied by the Deputy Public Prosecutor, Dr. Ahmed Al-Nour Al-Hala. The meeting aimed to enhance coordination between the various State bodies, with due respect for the rule of law and in support of more effective justice.

Following the meeting, Dr. Ahmed Al-Nour Al-Hala told the press that the discussions had focused on matters of common interest, foremost among which were support for the judicial system, the stepping up of national anti-corruption efforts, the promotion of transparency and integrity, and the protection of public funds.

He also insisted on the need for greater coordination and complementarity between the competent services, as these are essential to ensuring the swift and efficient enforcement of the law and the proper administration of justice.

He finally announced the upcoming organization of a coordination workshop bringing together representatives of the Public Prosecution, the Judiciary, and the Ministry of the Interior.

The objective is to define operational mechanisms to improve inter-institutional cooperation, refine coordination tools, and remove any obstacles that may hinder the course of justice.
