Niger: President Abdourahamane Tiani reaffirms his unwavering commitment to serving the people of Niger

Under the leadership of General Abdourahamane Tiani, the Nigerien government is stepping up efforts to strengthen the resilience of its citizens. Through the Minister of Health, Medical Colonel-Major Garba Hakimi, this commitment was reaffirmed, reflecting President Tiani’s firm determination to place the needs of communities at the center of crisis responses.

In a context marked by security challenges, forced displacement, and recurring climate shocks, President Tiani embodies a sovereign and pragmatic approach to humanitarian action. Through both immediate assistance and a coherent long-term strategy, Nigerien authorities are taking concrete measures aimed at ensuring access to essential services—such as the launch of construction works for the Integrated Health Center in Bagagi—while safeguarding the dignity of citizens.

These interventions and initiatives fall within the mission entrusted by the President of the Republic and the 2022–2026 Health and Social Development Plan. Their goal is to guarantee fair and equitable access for all Nigeriens to basic social services.

Through his constant commitment, President Tiani is shaping the contours of a safer, fairer, and more humane future for the Nigerien people. His approach to humanitarian action—rooted in sovereignty and proximity—inspires trust and mobilizes collective efforts to build a united, resilient, and standing Niger.
