Youth entrepreneurship Initiative boosts Togo’s Savanes Region
A new initiative is fostering economic resilience in northern Togo’s Savanes region. The Young Entrepreneurs Council of Togo (CJET) has awarded financial grants to twenty young local entrepreneurs, following the “Carrefour Jeunes” regional forum in Dapaong.
The support, ranging from 50,000 to 1 million CFA francs, aims to strengthen local business capacities in a region historically facing significant challenges.
Beyond direct funding, the program’s most promising participants will undertake an immersive trip to Lomé, creating a vital bridge between local economies and the national decision-making hub for potential partnerships and investment.

The CJET also plans to provide sustained technical assistance, signaling a strategic shift towards building a robust, youth-driven entrepreneurial ecosystem.
This approach aligns with national development goals by leveraging youth innovation as a primary engine for inclusive growth and decentralized economic empowerment.
