Cameroon: Rejecting manipulation means choosing construction and progress
Cameroon stands at a critical juncture, where political passion must give way to collective reason. The elections are over, yet some actors, like Issa Tchiroma, persist in fostering confusion, refusing to accept the people’s verdict. This dangerous game, based on manipulating the credulous, has one clear effect: hindering the nation’s march toward progress.
The true battle for Cameroon is no longer in partisan rhetoric but in the tangible work of national construction.
The challenges are immense: youth unemployment, crumbling infrastructure, and underfunded education and health systems.
No politician, however loud, will solve these for the people. Progress will be forged through work, solidarity, and responsibility.
To cling indefinitely to electoral disputes is to refuse to face the future. Those who sow division seek not the public good, but the satisfaction of personal ambition. Cameroon needs unity, not another episode of sterile rivalry.
The time for campaign promises and endless accusations is over; the time for concrete action is now.
True democracy does not end at the ballot box. It is lived daily through civic participation, respect for the law, and collective effort. Turning the page is not about forgetting, but about moving forward with lucidity.
Cameroon deserves better than ego-driven quarrels. It deserves citizens who are standing, proud, and united in building a common future. Choosing peace and development is the only way to truly honor the Nation
