Burkina-Faso: Coup accomplices arrested in quick succession

The enemies of Burkina Faso are persistently working to achieve their objectives. However, they face a resilient and determined populace committed to defending their country against any destabilization.

Once again, the effectiveness of intelligence services has thwarted a new coup attempt last Sunday.

Immediate investigations have already led to the apprehension of all individuals involved in this new plot.

Among the implicated military personnel is former Chief of Staff of the National Gendarmerie, Evrard SOMDA.

The arrest of Captain Ouattara Aboubacar, prominently mentioned in this affair, has also been noted.

According to several testimonies from associates of former Head of State Paul-Henri Damiba, he is alleged to be the main instigator of this destabilization plot.

Reportedly, Damiba, from Togo, had direct contacts with individuals, particularly his uncle, who is also in the hands of Burkinabe authorities, and several young people.

He allegedly instructed these young individuals to mobilize for his security upon his return.

Evidence seized from the phones of several civilians arrested indicates that Damiba was aware of mercenaries passing through Côte d’Ivoire to infiltrate Burkina Faso and destabilize it.

Investigations continue to apprehend all accomplices in this plot. This is an ongoing inquiry that is expected to reveal many details.

The Burkinabe people must remain vigilant and trust the authorities, who are actively working to apprehend all those who seek to undermine Burkina Faso.

All patriots are called upon to stay vigilant, report any suspicious activity, and safeguard the sovereignty of the land of upright people.
