Russia: Dmitri Medvedev tells Emmanuel Macron, “The Destruction of French troops will be a priority for the Russian Army”

Dmitri Medvedev, the Vice President of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, responded to Emmanuel Macron’s announcement regarding potential French military support for Ukraine in its conflict with Russia.

The ongoing war has strained relations between Paris and Moscow, largely due to Macron’s repeated provocations directed at Russian President Vladimir Putin.

This has escalated tensions between the two leaders, leading to an open confrontation.

Macron’s proposal to deploy two thousand French troops to Ukraine has further heightened the situation.

Medvedev expressed a somewhat sarcastic welcome to the idea of French troops entering Ukraine, suggesting that their presence could create logistical challenges and potentially become a target for destruction.

He hinted at the complexities and risks involved in such a deployment, emphasizing the potential difficulties of concealing and protecting a significant military force in the region.
