FIFA responds to Argentina’s appeal after controversial loss to Morocco at Paris 2024 Olympics

FIFA has officially addressed the complaint filed by Argentina following their 2-1 defeat to Morocco at the Paris 2024 Olympics.

The Argentine Football Association had sought redress from FIFA, citing unfair conditions and treatment during the match.

Despite Argentina’s grievances, FIFA has dismissed the appeal, upholding Morocco’s victory.

The decision came after the Argentine authorities lamented the circumstances surrounding the match and the alleged mistreatment of their national team.

However, these concerns did not sway FIFA’s decision.

As a result, the win by Morocco’s Atlas Lions stands, marking another setback for Argentina’s Albiceleste.

The ruling reaffirms Morocco’s performance and solidifies their triumph in the contentious Olympic encounter.
