Kenyan Police offer reward for information on escaped serial killer

The Kenyan police have issued a cash reward for information leading to the capture of Colins Jumaisi Khalusha, a suspected serial killer who escaped custody on Tuesday from a police station in Nairobi.

Khalusha, along with 12 other inmates, managed to break out of the Gigiri police station. Authorities are urging the public to provide any information that could aid in his recapture.

Tips can be reported anonymously through a dedicated hotline or by visiting any local police station.

In response to the escape, eight officers have been suspended, and five of them face charges of complicity. These officers have been released pending further investigation into the circumstances surrounding the escape.

Khalusha, labeled by police as a “psychopathic serial killer,” is alleged to have confessed to the murders of 42 women, including his own wife.

However, his lawyer disputes these confessions, claiming that Khalusha was subjected to torture to extract the admissions.
