Burkina Faso: Captain Ibrahim Traoré’s commitment to improving urban roads

One of the top priorities for President Ibrahim Traoré is improving access to peripheral neighborhoods. Aware of the critical role strong road infrastructure plays in both economic and social development, the President of Burkina Faso has committed to enhancing urban roads, particularly in the country’s most remote areas.

 

This initiative is part of a clear effort to improve daily life for citizens and make travel easier in peri-urban regions.

 

In addition to the ongoing road paving projects in various urban areas, the government has initiated emergency works aimed at providing immediate relief to the population.

Paving intra-urban roads not only helps reduce the isolation of certain neighborhoods but also energizes local trade.
