Burkina Faso/Development: Minister Olivia Rouamba wins the International Ubuntu Prize

Burkina Faso’s Minister of Diplomacy, H.E. Mrs. Olivia Ragnaghnèwendé ROUAMBA, was honored as a «Female Leader and Entrepreneur» during the 3rd edition of the International Ubuntu Awards held on November 25, 2023, in Cadiz, Andalusia (Spain).

These awards, as per the organizers, recognize political, socio-economic personalities, and institutions that stand out for their strong commitment to economic, social, cultural, sports development, and the defense of human rights between Africa, Latin America, and Europe.

In the case of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Regional Cooperation, and Burkinabè Abroad, Olivia R. ROUAMBA, the promoters of the Ubuntu Awards acknowledge her dedication to showcasing Burkinabè diplomacy, thus positioning the country of the Honest People on the world stage.

Her trophy was received by Mr. Amadou Aristide OUEDRAOGO, a Mission Officer at the Burkinabè Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

 

He praised the interest and consideration given to the minister and the entire Burkinabè people, a proud, committed people hopeful in their fight against terrorism and for their sovereignty.

Other Burkinabe personalities, namely Mrs. Boama Solange OUALI, Prefect of the Absouya Department, and Mr. Ludovic Yidien BASSONO, CEO of JHL Negoce, were also awarded for social activism and commitment to entrepreneurial ecosystems, business development, and social impact.

 

A source of pride and encouragement for the land of Honest People, which has revolutionized its fight against evil forces in recent years, striving for development and sovereignty on various fronts.
