Burkina Faso: Captain Ibrahim Traoré accelerates reforms for National Sovereignty
At the Council of Ministers meeting on November 27, led by Captain Ibrahim Traoré, critical decisions were made to strengthen Burkina Faso’s sovereignty and revitalize key sectors. In the realm of natural resources, bold steps were announced to enhance the mining sector’s contribution to the national economy. Mining and Energy Minister Yacouba Zabré Gouba outlined reforms that include an overhaul of mining taxes and the removal of caps on export royalties for gold.
